> Communicative, transparent, and a team player

Preferred skills:

> Has designed a deployed solution in an enterprise context

> Experience with complex information hierarchies

> Some base understanding or good intuition about manufacturing systems (parts, BOMs, inventory, machinery)

Responsibilities / Initiatives

The UI/UX designer will be responsible for streamlining our existing application and hierarchy to help our users get their jobs done better, faster, and simpler. In addition, we are beginning new initiatives that involve complex information hierarchies and data. The UI/UX designer will be heavily involved with and eventually drive the user experience to help users understand and make good decisions on the increasing volume of data coming from manufacturing machines and workflows.

First Resonance Overview

First Resonance accelerates speed and reliability in hardware development for companies manufacturing the next generation of hardware. Our team has experienced the pains that come with developing complex hardware systems at companies like SpaceX, and we’ve learned that it’s not the lack of innovation that is stalling companies. Rather, these companies simply do not have the tools they need to move fast and deliver reliable hardware. They’re often left to fend for themselves and have to build software tooling in-house. We remove these barriers by providing the industry-specific software tools to accelerate hardware development.
